Why Circular Beauty?
It is estimated that the beauty industry is responsible for 120 billion units of waste every year*. 95% of it is thrown out after a single use, and only 14% of beauty plastic makes it to a recycling centre.
What many people don’t realise is that the majority of beauty packaging can’t be recycled through curbside recycling programmes, meaning it ends up in landfills, oceans or is burnt.
