Application

Shake well before use. Apply this topical crème liberally to the skin. Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, or more frequently after perspiring, swimming or towelling dry. Store below 30°C.

Emma's Tips

I never skip SPF, even on cloudy days as UV rays are still present. Consistent daily application is key to maintaining healthy, protected skin year-round.

For an even smoother application I love using our Supernatural Day Crème underneath for a boost of hydration and a flawless finish.

With any excess product, I like to use it on my neck and hands, and I make sure to cover often-missed areas like my eyelids and brow-line.

Before I put on my makeup, I give my SPF a full 20 minutes to absorb completely, to ensure it doesn't interfere with my SPF protection.

Designed to be refilled

Our SPF 50 range are thoughtfully designed with the intention to be refilled. Purchasing a refill pod instead of a new jar reduces carbon emissions by up to 74%. However, due to the nature of the SPF formulation, SPF 50 refill pods themselves cannot be sterilised and refilled, but will be recycled through our specialised programme.

Fantastic alone and as a make up primer for those of us who like to avoid the dreaded shine!

I love this SPF cream. I apply one pump to my face and one pump to my chest area. I use a brush to spread it evenly before applying my makeup. I love that it doesn’t tint the skin, means I can apply to my chest area (that is sun damaged) and not worry about transfer. When you first apply it to your face, it seems super shiny. But once you apply your foundation over the top it just seems to morph into perfect skin. It’s the best makeup primer I have tried (and I have tried a lot). Best part is it not only protects my skin, but it holds my makeup perfectly. I usually have to blot my skin with tissues or apply loads of powder to absorb excess shine over the day. With this product I have a nice even glow without any shine, and no blotting needed. Complete miracle. On my shopping list for sure.

Big tick as rosacea friendly!

I’ve been using this gorgeous product for a week now and I'm loving it. I have always used only mineral sunscreen on my face because of rosacea outbreaks (in active phases I have to use antibiotics and or antibiotic cream to clear it, so it gets pretty serious and I am super fussy about products I use, I go as natural as possible). Your product is the nicest of any mineral sunscreen I have used. It glides on beautifully and the gentle fragrance is lovely too. I also love the dispenser. I am definitely very impressed and a fan (my previous mineral sunscreen from Antipodes has done me well but your product is a step above and I am a convert!).

I feel if I was going to react to it, I would have by now so am giving this a big tick as rosacea friendly.

sSooo much better than the last one. It spreads so well and I am no longer white.

Light and nourishing

The new formula is great, I feels so light and nourishing on the skin, without leaving any white cast. I like that I can wear it everyday under my make up, I tend to have sensitive skin and the Mineral face Cream doesn’t upset my skin barrier. I am happy to have it back in my morning routine and look forward to seeing the long term benefits of regular use.

Another game changer from Emma Lewisham 💜

I’ve been reaching for it as my daily SPF. It applies like a dream! Sometimes I reapply it during the day just because I want to 😊 The pigment is gorgeous and works so well for my skin tone.

I particularly love how it looks on my skin on makeup-free days. But it also sits well under makeup (which I used to find challenging if not impossible with the previous formulation). To make this work for me, I’ve found I need to adjust my foundation a little to a slightly more matte option (rather than my usual dewy pick), alternatively a little light powder on top also works well in reducing the shine.

I’m also finding the new formulation easier to remove at the end of the day. With the previous version, I found that even with a double cleanse and gentle exfoliant, there would sometimes be a slight film remaining on my skin and this would lead to the occasional blemish. The new version is much easier to remove, although I do still feel there’s a slight residue after double oil cleansing so would love to hear if you have any thoughts on what works best for this. I’ve been pretty loyal to Aesop Parsley Seed Facial Cleansing Oil over the years which generally works well for me other than not being quite enough to remove mineral sunscreen effectively.

Overall, this product is an incredible improvement on the previous formulation and it’s a delight to use. I was a bit sceptical and honestly didn’t think it was possible to find a natural sunscreen that would work for my skin tone and one that I would look forward to applying each morning… but you’ve done it! Another game changer from Emma Lewisham 💜

Well it’s a game changer after using ( or trying to) previous Emma Lewisham face sunscreen.
Goes on like a dream , no white residue, feels amazing and bonus it’s 50 SPF.
So from going to wouldn’t have repurchased previous product I would buy this and look further into Emma Lewisham products again.

I love using it and think it is ten times better than the previous cream!!! I’m convinced and definitely using it as my regular day cream going forward!
