Leaders in circular, refillable skincare

We proudly pioneered circular, refillable skincare within luxury beauty. All our products can be refilled, with our refillable packaging reducing carbon by up to 74%.

In 2021, we became the first skincare brand globally to offer refillable, circular-designed and Climate Positive certified skincare across our complete range—an achievement that garnered a personal endorsement by ethologist and United Nations Messenger of Peace, Dr. Jane Goodall.

Beauty Circle Returns

Beauty Circle is our global circularity programme that invites you to return your empty skincare for refilling or recycling—keeping valuable packaging in circulation, reducing our reliance on virgin materials, and lowering carbon emissions.

Our products are intentionally designed to be refilled indefinitely. Refillable pods can be sterilised, refilled, and reused, while refill pouches are recycled through our specialised partner.

We encourage you to return any Emma Lewisham packaging you're no longer using, so we can ensure it’s either reused or properly recycled. Our cardboard cartons and boxes are made from certified FSC materials and are kerbside recyclable.

Climate Positive Certified

As part of our commitment to creating positive impact, we are Climate Positive certified by Toitū Envirocare—an independent agency with JASANZ-accredited third-party verification.

Achieving this certification meant measuring our total carbon emissions, implementing a robust reduction plan, and offsetting the remaining impact. We're focused on reducing emissions across every stage of our supply chain and are working closely with suppliers to drive measurable, lasting change.

Our sustainability strategy details the goals and targets we aim to achieve. These goals align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and address the six drivers of our supply chain—raw materials, suppliers, manufacturing, distribution, retail outlets and customers.

Proudly New Zealand owned and operated, with products made in New Zealand and Australia by partners who share our strict sustainability standards.

Campaigning for Change

We’re advocating for stronger beauty regulations that align with global best practices and the latest science. In 2020, we called on New Zealand’s EPA to ban 25 harmful ingredients already prohibited in the EU and California. We’re committed to driving industry change—locally and globally—for a safer, more transparent future in beauty.

Transparency

With full supply chain traceability and strict environmental and human rights standards, our mission is to lead the transition to a more sustainable beauty industry through science-led innovation, circular design, and climate accountability.

As a B Corp certified brand, we’re fully transparent from farm to face—ensuring every ingredient is 100% traceable and responsibly sourced. We prioritise organic, high-performing natural extracts and rigorously review the environmental and labour practices behind each one, taking full responsibility for every step in our supply chain.
