Our SPF 50 formulations have been assessed against Regulation (EC) N° 1223/2009 which is the main European regulatory framework to ensure the safety of finished cosmetic products. This involves the independent safety assessor running a toxicological analysis based on human usage on each formulation to make sure there are no expected adverse reactions, or ingredients certain groups of people (such as pregnant or breastfeeding women) would need to avoid.
