Our specialised Zinc Oxide is a natural mineral pigment which helps to protect from harmful UVA and UVB rays without leaving white residue on your skin. This UV hero provides robust SPF30 protection that is validated by independent testing on every batch. This is paired with innovative Inula Helenium Extract to reduce damage from blue light and pollution, and pink algae to protect the skin's collagen inventory from UV-induced degradation.

Supercharged Hydration Complex

Next generation hydrating hero Saccharide Isomerate increases the skin’s own production of Hyaluronic Acid, while an advanced Hyaluronic Acid delivers moisture deeply into the skin. Specialised Ceramides enhance the skin barrier to protect and lock hydration, which is proven to persist for up to 72 hours to profoundly lift and smooth this area of delicate skin.

Application

Peel the seal off the refill pod, and lock this into your Skin Shield refillable jar.

Apply liberally to skin every morning as the final step of your skincare routine. Gently warm the crème between your fingers before applying to your face and body.

Apply 20-30 minutes before sun exposure and re-apply every 2 hours to maintain protection, or more frequently after perspiring, swimming, or towelling dry.

I gently warm Skin Shield SPF 30 by rubbing it between my fingers, before application. Warming the crème like this means that the product glides on better and does not leave a residual whiteness on the skin.

I apply SPF every day, even in winter, the sun's UVA and UVB rays can still cause skin damage even if it's an overcast day.

Great sunscreen when used without makeup

Goes on really nicely for a mineral sunscreen, perfect if you aren't wearing make up, but I found my makeup didn't sit properly if applied over the sunscreen. Apparently a common issue though with mineral sunscreens!

My favourite sunscreen!

I have been using this sunscreen for a few years now, and absolutely love it! It's creamy but not oily, it's rich but doesn't leave a white film over my skin, it smells great and, call me a biased, but I love the sound of all natural ingredients in this sunscreen. 10 out of 10.

My skin has been devasted by eczema for 20 years (went haywire after my pregnancy). I'm also allergic to dairy, wheat, grass, dust, cats etc etc and compositae (10%of all plants including all the ones usually associated with skin care). I have a UV allergy as well. So you can imagine how impossible and expensive it has been to find even a sunblock I can use on top of my glamourous regime of emulsifing ointment (or greasy pig as we call it in my family) and sorbelene.

Cut to last summer when I had the opportunity to try the Skin Shield SPF, I was extremely trepidatious - the wrong product can set me off for weeks. At 59 years old I think I've found a product that works for me! I have spent literally thousands of dollars on my skin over the years, buying and binning products that promise they are gentle, perfect for sensitive skin ra de ra ra only to blow up my face right up.

I am stunned at how much better my skin is and to have a sunscreen I can use is a game changer for me, meaning I can venture out between the usually forbidden outdoor hours of 10am to 4pm. So thank you for the opportunity to try these incredible products. For the change in my skin. I am so deeply grateful.

Lovely sunscreen! Doesn't clog pores and does not irritate my sensitive skin (unlike many other sunscreens I've tried in the past). Applies smooth and even, with any whiteness disappearing within a minute.

Skin Shield is amazing!!

I cannot say enough about skin shield. Living in a hot climate (Australia) and with the hole we have in the ozone layer, it is so important to be protected from the sun at all times. Skin shield is my morning go to before I step outside. It has the most luxurious feel and makes my skin soft, protected and ready to take on the day. I use it all over my face, neck and décolletage. I absolutely love the texture and feeling of protection it provides as well as the beautiful smoothness it gives my skin. I’m in love!!!
