A Note from Emma - Reflecting on the year

As 2025 draws to a close, it is a moment to pause and reflect on a year defined by innovation, creativity, and a relentless commitment to meaningful impact.

A Note from Emma - Reflecting on the year

“We believe the secret to unlocking your skin’s potential is having a deep understanding and reverence for the skin.”

— Emma

This has been a year of remarkable milestones – from continuing to create genuinely revolutionary products to strengthening our leadership in sustainable luxury skincare. Our 2025–2027 Sustainability Strategy further accelerates our circular, climate-positive model. With over 200,000 refills sold, 120 tonnes of carbon saved, and 176,000 new jars avoided, we’ve proven that circular design can deliver meaningful, measurable impact.

We were thrilled to have our hard work recognised with a groundbreaking B Corp score of 121, positioning us as the highest-rated luxury skincare company globally within the Personal Care Products – Wholesale/Retail category of B Corp*. It’s a powerful affirmation of our commitment to social, environmental, and operational excellence and reflects our belief that circularity must become the uncompromising foundation of every beauty brand.

This year also brought moments of recognition that I feel incredibly humbled by. Being named Spark New Zealand Innovator of the Year at the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards, headlining two events for British Vogue’s 5 Days of Beauty in London, and receiving the Vogue Codes Visionary Women’s Award for Excellence in Sustainable Innovation were extraordinary honours. But above all, these moments are a testament to our remarkable team and to everyone who believes in what we’re building.

So as this year comes to an end, I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to you – our passionate community, partners, and advocates. Your support enables us to reach people with products that push the boundaries of what’s possible in skincare, creating something truly exceptional for both you and the planet.

With much warmth,

Emma Lewisham
